Welcome to Mihaljevic Soccer School !
The first soccer school established in the United States in St. Louis, Mo. 1967, started by Joe's father George Mihaljevic.
Mihaljevic Soccer School is dedicated to the development of the youth in the Sacramento area. We are dedicated to the development and cultivation of character just as much as soccer skill and technique. Trying to develop an all around high quality person as well as an all around high quality player.
These areas of Character development are always at the forefront of every training session: Commitment, Dedication, Respect, Perseverance, Selflessness, Loyalty, Teamwork, Responsibility, Courage, Dignity, Integrity, Dependability and always Good Judgment.
Mihaljevic soccer School currently offers these classes:
Soccer instruction: once a week year round for players age 5-13 at Folsom Sports Complex on Fridays.
90 min. sessions
Chess 101: Thursdays at the Folsom Sports Complex
6:00-7:30. This class goes over the fundamentals of chess and chess strategy. Play will also involve chess clocks and writing down their moves in an algebraic format.
Soccer for Autism : Parents and siblings are encouraged to
participate in this fun filled class for children with autism aged 7-17. Everyone helps everyone in this class doing basic
coordination training with and without a ball. We use speed
rings, cones, balloons and soccer balls to create a very fun and inventive class designed to engage the autistic child in fun and challenging exercises. Everyone involved has made this class a great success.
Chess and Soccer for Homeschoolers: Classes are on Fridays from 12:30-2:30, 1 hour of Chess, 1 hour of soccer. From Sept- June at the Folsom Sports Complex.
Pre-K Kickers: Coordination training for 2.5 -4 year old toddlers interested in pursuing soccer.
Folsom Sports Complex.
Fridays from 11:00-11:50 Sept.-June
Tuesday evenings: 5:30-6:20 from Apr.-Nov.
We also offer individual and team training.
Individual Training : 4 one hour sessions-minimum of 4.
Individual TraniningFees: $100 an hour sessions
Team Training - 4 two hour sessions - minimum of 4.
Team Fees: - $15 per player - 15 player minimum.
* Mihaljevic Soccer School also donates time training inmates at the Sacramento Juvenile Detention Center.
