MSC Top Gun's 2011 U14 Girls' competitive team, PRIMA, has open positions available for serious & committed prospective soccer players. Must have at least 2 years of Select Level of playing experience. Competitive Level experienced players are welcomed! Top Gun-PRIMA will participate in the NorCal Premier 2011 Spring League which starts March 1. PRIMA will also participate in the U.S. Club State Cup Tournament. All playerswill receive the best professional youth soccer instruction & training in the area. Come join us for a great soccer experience with lots of good fun and challenging competition!

Coach Joe successfully completes ACF Fiorentina Advanced/Master Coaching Course (March 21)

Coach Joe has successfully completed Italy's ACF Fiorentina's Advanced / Master Coaching Course, held March 17-20, 2010 at Santa Clara University. ACF Fiorentina has partnered with NorCal Premier Soccer to bring the science of Futbol in Italy to the youth soccer clubs in the United States. The intensive, accelerated 4-day Advanced/Masters Coaching course was given by ACF Fiorentina's Director of Coaching, Professor Vincenzo Vergine (pictured with Coach Joe below). This was absolutely a great experience & opportunity for Coach Joe as he was able to personally interface and share ideas (via interpreter!) with Professor Vergine.

Mihaljevic Soccer School, Inc offers professional youth soccer instruction including group training sessions, 1:1 training and team trainings for players & families who wish to truly improve their soccer abilities & skills.

We also offer Pre-K Kickers for pre-school aged children, Chess 101 and a combined Chess & Soccer Class for Homeschooled students and their families. These classes are held in conjuction with the City of Folsom's Parks & Recreation Department and conducted at the Folsom Sports Complex. In March 2008, Mihaljevic Soccer Club (MSC) Top Gun was formed to provide families in our communites the ability to become part of a local youth competitive soccer club, play & develop at the highest levels of youth soccer, while still maintaining a family-friendly, family-balanced lifestyle.

We are proud to announce that we have already proven ourselves to be able to compete & win among the more established competitive clubs in the area in such a short time by winning 2 State Cup Championship Titles our first year as well as a State Cup Championship Finals Standing our 2nd season.

Coach Joe & Lynette attend a June weekend coaching clinic in Dublin, California with Dutch Soccer Clubs, AFC Ajax & AZ Alkmaar. Lynette says, "It was a great experience and an awesome display of great coaching leadership from both Jan Olde Rinkerrink and Aloys Winjker. Their strong personalities & coaching styles match Joe's own. This confirms what I have always thought about our program - that Joe and MSS/MSC Top Gun are heading in the right direction with developing young American soccer players that will be able to compete at the International level." Joe continues to add, "The coaches set the tone of the practice and the level of focus they demand from the student/player is superior."

Jan Olde Riekerrink has been Youth Director at AFC Ajax for the past 11 years. He has coached & trained at least half of the 2010 World Cup team from the Netherlands, including Wesley Sneijder. Sneijder was 9 years old he started training with Rinkerrink. Rinkerrink also heads an elite force of Ajax youth coaches that include Dennis Bergkamp, Frank De Boeur, Wim Jonk & Brian Roy
